Cancellation Policy

At Out In Peace LLC, we strive to provide reliable and convenient rideshare services to our valued customers. We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel a ride reservation. This cancellation policy outlines the guidelines for canceling rides and the associated charges, if applicable. By using our rideshare service, you agree to comply with this policy. 1. Cancellation Window: Customers can cancel a ride reservation free of charge with 24 hours notice from the time of service. After this initial grace period, the following guidelines apply: 2. Standard Cancellation Fee: If a customer cancels a ride after the initial grace period has expired, a standard cancellation fee will be applied. The standard cancellation fee is 50% of the trip fee, and it will be charged to the payment method used to make the reservation. 3. Driver Wait Time: Customers are expected to be ready for their ride at the scheduled pickup time. Drivers will wait for up to 10 minutes at the pickup location. If the customer is not present after the designated wait time, the ride will be considered a no-show, and the standard cancellation fee will be applied. 4. No-Show Fee: In the event of a no-show (customer not present at the pickup location within the designated wait time), a no-show fee of 50% of the trip fee will be charged to the payment method used for the reservation. 5. Cancellation by Driver: In the rare instance that a driver cancels a ride after accepting the request (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns), no cancellation fee will be charged to the customer. Out In Peace LLC will make every effort to promptly find a replacement driver or suggest alternative transportation options in such cases. 6. Cancellation Process: Customers can cancel a ride by accessing their Out In Peace LLC app or by contacting our customer support team at info@outinpeace.com. The cancellation will be confirmed via email or in-app notification. 7. Exceptions: Out In Peace LLC understands that unforeseen situations may occur that necessitate canceling a ride beyond the standard policy guidelines. In such cases, customers may appeal the cancellation fee by contacting our customer support team with valid reasons for the cancellation at info@outinpeace.com. 8. Policy Changes: Out In Peace LLC reserves the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time. Changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or in the app. Please note that this cancellation policy applies only to rides canceled by the customer after the initial grace period. Regular fares and surge pricing (if applicable) will apply to all completed rides.
